There are two separate programs available for your use. The first—a short term credit program—is for companies selling products such as parts, supplies, consumables and commodities. Most foreign buyers want open lines of credit of 30 to 180 days. You want to build new distributors and dealers and give them extended terms so they can stock your products. We can meet both needs by giving your customer free financing for the first 30 days of each invoice and rates as low as 1% per month for each month beyond 30 days up to six months. The second—a medium term program—helps companies who want to sell capital equipment overseas and want to provide financing of up to five years on the equipment and take no risk whatsoever in not getting paid. We will finance the transaction and pay you in full for the equipment before it ever leaves your facility. Environmental equipment can be financed for as long as seven years. Each loan requires a 15% down-payment and the remaining payments are made on a quarterly or semiannual basis. Interest rates and terms are usually much lower than the foreign buyer can get in their own country—so get out and beat your competition!
